OFFICEOLOGY — PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 2026-03-01

The Short Version

Officeology does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything in the app stays on your device.

What We Collect

Nothing. Officeology collects no personal information of any kind. Specifically:

  • No account or sign-in required
  • No analytics or usage tracking
  • No crash reporting sent to external servers
  • No advertising identifiers collected
  • No location data
  • No contacts, photos, or media access

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple’s standard iOS storage mechanisms:

  • Favorites - phrases, tactics, and archetypes you bookmark (stored via SwiftData)
  • Preferences - notification settings, onboarding state, and survival score activity (stored via UserDefaults)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Notifications

If you enable daily phrase notifications, the app schedules them locally using iOS’s notification system. No data is sent to any server to deliver these notifications - they are generated entirely on-device.

You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Officeology.

Third-Party Services

Officeology does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other third party included in the app.

Children’s Privacy

Officeology is rated 4+ and does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes in a meaningful way (for example, if a future version adds analytics), this page will be updated and the date above will reflect the change. We will not retroactively collect data.
